Brandyn Nutter
Environmental Engineering

Brandyn Nutter earns a BS in Environmental Engineering from Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ after completing an AA from Indian River State College. He graduates magna cum laude and now pursues a PhD in Transportation and Environmental Engineering. As a graduate research and teaching assistant, he studies air quality, climate change, and biogas treatment. His long-term goal is to design environmental systems for space exploration.


Kayla Tapscott

Civil Engineering

Kayla Tapscott graduates summa cum laude with a BS in Civil Engineering from Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ. She leads a senior project redesigning SW 4th Ave for the City, using simulations and traffic solutions. She now works as a highway engineering associate at RS&H in Orlando and enjoys traveling whenever she can.

Geomatics Engineering

Brett Costanza earns a BS in Geomatics Engineering, magna cum laude, and is completing a master’s in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geomatics. At Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ, he leads the FSMS student chapter and works on Lidar-based sensing systems. He interns at WGI, Inc., and plans to pursue a career in GIS and remote sensing, with interests in research and teaching.

Omair Faqah

Omair Faqah
Ph.D. Candidate, Electrical Engineering

Winner, 2025 3MT Championship

Omair Faqah is a PhD student at Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ developing low-cost diagnostic devices for diseases like HIV and Zika. His research combines microfluidics and molecular biology to improve healthcare access. He wins the 3MT competition and leads award-winning student teams. His work aims to bridge technology and medicine globally.


Ayush Gowda

Ayush Gowda
Computer Engineering and Computer Science

Ayush Gowda is a dual major in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ. His research uses optical flow for object detection with a single 2D camera. He wins the 2024 Undergraduate Researcher of the Year award and leads teams in STEM competitions. He graduates in December 2024 and aspires to innovate through engineering.


Annabella Zamora

Annabella Victoria Zamora
Computer Engineering

Annabella Zamora studies Computer Engineering at Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ, focusing on robotics and automation. As SHPE president, she advocates for Latino students in STEM and interns at Boston Scientific working on robotic systems. She is committed to mentorship and diversity in engineering, inspired by early exposure to STEM and strong family support.


Emily Chamberlain

Emily Chamberlain
Computer Science

Emily Chamberlain completes her BS in Computer Science with a minor in Artificial Intelligence at Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ and is now pursuing a master’s in Computer Engineering. She joins SWE, IEEE, and WIECS, and plans to explore electrical engineering further. Emily is passionate about building future tech that solves real-world problems.

Natasha Zbib completes her BS in Electrical Engineering at Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ in just over three years through the SOAR in 4 program. She volunteers for campus events, supports new students, and actively participates in Women in Engineering. Natasha is known for her drive, planning skills, and commitment to making a difference.

Nicki Russo is a senior at Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She serves as Vice President for both ASME and SWE. With a passion for global impact, she plans to help expand access to clean water in developing nations after graduation.

Victor Zauder

Victor Zauder is a senior in Mechanical Engineering at Ä¢¹½tvÍøÒ³°æ. Originally from Brazil, he shifts from a medical path after discovering a passion for physics. He serves as president of Jewish Owls and is involved in STEM Entrepreneurship and BRASA. He brings a multicultural and interdisciplinary perspective to engineering.
